Group Winners

At this point in time, the recognized breeds in the Canadian Kennel Club are divided into 7 Groups. Italian Greyhounds are placed in the Toy Group, along with the Pomeranians, Chihuahuas, Pekingese, you know, the cute and fuzzy dogs! Winning a group first is difficult for an Italian Greyhound, as they have no hair to hide behind and they generally are not sparkling show dogs. However, some really good dogs do sometimes stand out to judges who are knowledgeable and confident enough to recognize them.
